}} ''I Am the Club Rocker'' is the second studio album recorded by Romanian singer Inna. It was released on September 19, 2011 through Roton, and produced by her longtime producing team Play & Win. The album features a new retro sound and was previously known as ''Powerless'', but Inna personally dismissed the rumor with a tweet. With the release of the new record, Inna has encouraged her fans all over the world to affirm themselves as a ''Club Rocker,'' launching a special website dedicated to her fans in order to communicate. The album was described by Play & Win as their best record so far and the whole crew wants to see ''I Am The Club Rocker'' atop many charts worldwide. The album's first promotional single was "Sun Is Up", which peaked at number one in Bulgaria, at number two in Romania and France and at number three in Russia. It has also entered the top twenty of the UK Singles Chart, as it debuted at number seventeen and peaked at number fifteen. The second single, "Club Rocker", premiered on May 17, 2011, during her concert at Arenele Romane, Bucharest. It was officially released on May 30, 2011 via Los 40 Principales Radio in Spain. It was a moderate success, only peaking at number forty-two in Romania and at number thirty-two in France. In the Germanic countries the song performed well, peaking at number fourteen on the Austrian Singles Chart and number fifty-five on the German Singles Chart. "Un Momento", released as the third single from the album, peaked at number twelve on the Romanian Top 100 and reached number forty-two on the French Singles Chart. On November 22, 2011, Inna's website confirmed "Endless" as the fourth single taken from "I Am the Club Rocker". The song and its accompanying music video were released on November 25, 2011. On the Romanian Top 100 the song became the second most successful single release from the album after "Sun Is Up", peaking at number five. On April 5, 2012, Inna published the official music video for the fifth single, WOW, which was previously released as a promotional single to support the new opening of the iTunes Store Romania in October 2011 on the one hand and to promote the release of "I Am The Club Rocker!" in September 2011 on the other hand. The song quickly became a radio hit in Romania after its official release, reaching number ten on the Romanian Top 100, while its accompanying music video simultaneously was a big success on Romania's TV music channels. In order to promote the album, Inna embarked in a tour through Europe, visiting France, Spain, Germany, Turkey and Romania. The tour is referenced in its promotion as INNA en Concert (French for Inna in concert). The Romanian gig called INNA: Live la Arenele Romane gathered the biggest audience for a Romanian act in its home country since 2003. During early fall 2011, Inna was present in a promo tour trough Mexico where it gathered the most numerous crowd at Six Flags México. The album was first released digitally in Mexico, on August 26, 2011, but it wasn't physically released until September 16, 2011. Since its release, it charted in the Walloon Chart of Belgium at number-fifteen and in the Top 100 Mexico where it debuted weak but following Inna's presence in the country it became the greatest gainer of the week and moved to a new peak of number-eight, becoming Inna's first top ten album there and registering a large increase in units sold, as shown by Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas. It was also certified Gold by IFPI in Poland and it performed well in Czech Republic, France and in Inna's homecountry Romania without any official store-release. The album was finally released in Romania and got certified Gold by UPFR and it was named "Album of the Year" by Inna's label Roton Music Romania.〔 ==Background and recording== Inna first announced that she would commence work on a new album in June 2010. On June 28, Inna posted a video on her YouTube channel containing a teaser of a "Hit Summer Pack" by Play & Win (including two songs featuring Inna: "Sun Is Up" and "Un Momento"). Announced as a single release "Sun Is Up" premiered on Romanian mainstream radio on June 29, 2010 while "Un Momento" later was released on the Spanish Edition of her debut album ''Hot''. On July 10, 2010, during her performance at the MTV Romania Music Awards, held in Craiova, Inna premiered "Sun Is Up". In April 2011, the second single to be taken off the album was unveiled – "Club Rocker". It was shot in the Media Pro Pictures studios in Buftea, next to Bucharest. The photo shoot was directed by photographer Eduard Aninaru. Over 50 male and female models were featured in the shooting, which consists of two different images: an uncensored one, leaked onto the internet, and the official artwork of the album "I Am The Club Rocker". In the artwork, Inna stands in the center of a background full of semi-nude male and female models having fun. She wears a summer suit with long boots and a French-like bun. The album is considered Inna's best and one of the best dance albums a Romanian has ever made yet. It contains twelve distinct song and a bonus remix (a total of thirteen tracks) with five singles released.
